Spurs & Heat To Stage Hurricane Katrina Relief Game
Damn, this should be a great game for a good cause. Could this be a preview of the 2006 Finals?
The San Antonio Spurs, the Miami Heat, the NBA and the National Basketball Players Association have announced their plans to stage an exhibition game between the Miami HEAT and the San Antonio Spurs to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The game will be played in Miami at the AmericanAirlines Arena on Monday, October 10, 2005 at 7:30PM, and will feature several up-close and personal experiences for fans. Prior to the game, players will greet fans at the door and following the contest, fans will have the opportunity to get some of their favorite player’s autographs. To generate the largest possible contribution, all tickets will be sold at the 2005-06 regular season individual game ticket prices.
