Out On the Road Today I Saw a Deadhead Sticker on a Cadillac
The changing of summer into fall is my favorite time of the year. The sun still shines bright, but there's a crispness in the air as the leaves turn and fall. The season starts with my birthday (middle-end of August) and more or less continues through my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving.
And in that time period, the NBA season starts. And like the protagonist in Don Henley's greatest song, my love for the San Antonio Spurs will still be strong long after the boys of summer are gone.
Today marks the start of training camp, as most teams have their media day. I've been in a NBA-light zone the last few months, and today marks the day that I start paying close attention to the league and most importantly to the Spurs. I have nothing new or exciting to discuss today, other than to say welcome back Spurs, welcome back readers, and let's have another fun season.
Go Spurs Go!
